Gurdwara Baoli Sahib

Flawlessly arranged in the Zirakpur-Kalka Highway, the Gurudwara Baoli Sahib is just about 10 km from Chandigarh. As the legend goes, a successor of Baba Gurditta Ji dwelled in the Dhakoli town, near Zirakpur. Overpowered by his genuine loyalty, Guru Gobind Singh Ji went to the town. The successor is believed to have asked him for some source of water and the master shot a bolt into the ground. Thus, a shallow well sprang up from the spot. Later, a Gurdwara was developed around the spot and came to be known as Gurdwara Baoli Sahib.

Mata Mansa Devi Temple

This heavenly place in Chandigarh is dedicated or the most part to Goddess Mansa Devi. The temple is arranged right around 8 km from Chandigarh. Mansa Devi temple has two sanctums. The primary sanctum was work in the year 1815 AD, by the leader of Mani Majra. It was later on when the Maharaja of Patiala made another haven, close to the Main Temple. A lovely garden outskirts the temple. Navratri is the time when melas (fairs) can be seen around the city.

Gurudwara Khooni Sahib

Initially called Gurdwara Bageecha Sahib, Gurudwara Khooni Sahib is arranged on the Chandigarh-Mansa Devi street. According to the legend, Guru Gobind Singh Ji dwelled here for a week, alongside his adherents. The gurdwara gets its name from the way that Guru Ji laid on his elbow all through his sit tight.
