3. Aye-Aye


The aye-aye is a type of lemur native to Madagascar. It has an interesting way of finding food. It climbs a tree and taps on the tree trunk, when it hears a hollow area where there could be insects it gnaws a hole in the tree trunk. It then uses its elongated middle finger to dig around in there until it finds something to eat.
