1. The Avengers (2012)
With so many films leading up to this, not to mention all the little teasers after the credits of each film, it’s no wonder this takes the top spot. It brings together Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and The Incredible Hulk for a film that is as funny as it is action-packed.
Honourable mentions go to the two Hulk films (more so The Incredible Hulk, which fits in a bit better with the Marvel-verse leading up to The Avengers), the rest of the X-Men trilogy and all the old Superman films starring Christopher Reeve.
