7. Titus (1999)
This is the adaptation of the play Titus Andronicus, about the downfall of a Roman general. It begins with Titus (Anthony Hopkins) returning from war after defeating the Goths. He brings back captives, Tamora, Queen of the Goths and her three sons. To avenge the loss of Titus’ sons, he sacrifices Tamora’s eldest son.
