6. Babylon 5
This show was written to be aired over five seasons, it ran from 1994 to 1999. It follows the crew of a five mile long space station called Babylon 5. The station is the centre for trade and diplomacy. It’s said to be one of the most complex television shows because of multiple story arcs focusing on prophesies, religion, politics and racial tensions.
