1. Star Trek: The Next Generation
Running longer than any other Star Trek series, The Next Generation is not only one of the best Sci-Fi shows, but probably one of the best things to have been on television, ever. Like the original series it follows the Starship Enterprise and its crew. They meet alien races, battle the fearsome Borg, meet the quirky and frightening entity Q and visit all sorts of planets.
