2. Hoshi Ryokan
Found in Awazu Onsen area in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hoshi Ryokan has been run by a family for forty-six generation. Because of this, ancient ghosts that date back even as far as 1300s have reported to haunt the place. There are many magical artifacts that can be seen all over the hotel. There are many stories that had been associated with the place. Together with its eerie location, Hoshi Ryokan is known to be the scariest hotel in Japan.
