9. Vincent Van Gogh
Known as a great painter today, Vincent Van Gogh lived a life of oblivion where his work was not appreciated. Despite suffering from depression, epilepsy and an unstable life, Vincent painted to his heart’s content. His work however, was not found until his death after which about 1,100 sketches and drawings and 900 paintings were discovered. His paintings today are masterpieces and fetch millions of dollars.
