2. El Greco
Today El Greco is considered to have his own school of art as his work is so different and varied that he cannot fit in any one school. His entire life, Greco had to face the ignorance of the society for his different style of painting and artistic sculpting. His work was termed as incomprehensible but fame came to him after his death during the twentieth century, when modern day painters and sculptors found his work to be amazing and different than others. He was a painter ahead of his times as it is now that his work is understood and appreciated.
