Top 10 Pedigree Cat Breeds

Cats take less care than dogs as, in most cases, they can be left to their own devices. Many will still want to jump on your lap for a cuddle, though.

Here’s a list of some of the top pedigree cat breeds out there.

10. Sphynx

These cats are well known for their lack of coats. They were first bred in 1966 but a small genetic pool led to a number of problems, the breeding progressed and in the seventies there was a sound genetic pool.

Because of their lack of coat, the Sphynx cats like to snuggle up to their owners and other animals to keep warm. They are intelligent, highly curious and very extroverted. They also need to be bathed about once a week and owners need to be careful that their cat doesn’t get sunburned.
