4. Cua Van/Halong Bay, Vietnam
Taking “sea side village” to a whole new level, this village literally is on the water. Not one aspect of the town is on land! Use small boats to row between destinations, enjoy some of the freshest fish you may have ever had, and take in the breathtaking scenery. This can be rather costly to get to however, boats for hire, and an 8 hour bus ride is enough to detour many of the less die hard travel enthusiast. If you want rustic charm and one of a kind trip, it is worth the wait and the pretty penny.
