6. Palacio de las Artes
The Palacio de las Artes was constructed on a 40,000 square meters of area and known for its strong dynamic architectural effects. The central core of the building is used for the technical facility with lifting mechanism for the stage. Its opera house has 1300 seats and located in a fully air-conditioned auditorium. A smaller 400-seat auditorium is used primarily for chamber music concerts, while a rehearsal facility is located directly above. The roof and enclosing walls also offer acoustical functions.
