2. Vanitas: Flesh Dress for an Albino Anorectic
Jana Sterbak’s stirred much controversy with a dress made quite literally of meat. Vanitas is a reminder that no matter how hard we try to make ourselves look attractive; we are just meat hanging from bones. It was exhibited in Ottawa and made from 50lbs of sewn steaks hung on a hanger.
