2. Taj Mahal
The beautiful structure on the banks of Yamuna River Taj Mahal is located at Agra, in India. Emperor Shah Jahan wanted to build a breathtaking structure in the fond memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. It was designed by Ustad Ahmad Lahauri and the construction started in about 1632. It took almost 21 years to complete this magnificent monument. This symbol of love has become an iconic structure of architectural genius in the world.
