4. Spaghetti


It’s actually the type of pasta that is called spaghetti and not the dish. However, it is usually served with mince, tomato sauce and all sorts of vegetables. The pasta is long, thin ribbons made from semolina.

There’s carbonara, which is cooked with parmesan, panchetta (or bacon) and eggs. Or if you fancy more bite in your pasta try Spaghetti puttanesca. It has chilli, anchovies, capers and olives in it.
