9. Microwave Oven
Just as the refrigerator made life easier by allowing one to keep food fresh even after a couple of days, the invention of the microwave oven allowed people to get their food warmed in seconds. The first microwave oven was produced in 1947 by Dr. Percy Spencer. The microwave oven is now a staple gadget with most homes for not just warming food but for cooking meals as well.
