Quentin Jerome Tarantino is an actor, producer, screenwriter and film director from Knoxville, Tennessee and came to prominence in the film industry in the early 1990’s. He is widely recognized for non-linear and postmodernism narrative, with highly aesthetic, yet violently extreme scenes, such as in two Kill Bill films. Having trained as an actor, Tarantino appeared as cameos in some of his works, such as a bartender in the Death Proof, Jimmie in Pulp Fiction and Mr. Brown in Reservoir Dogs.
