4. Charkhi Dadri Collision
The aircraft accident can be considered a result of sheer negligence. The Kazakhstan Airlines carried 27 passengers and 10 crew members and was scheduled to land the Delhi airport. The crew at the Kazakhstan airlines had limited knowledge of English and was conversing with the Indian air traffic controller through a radio operator. The plane was given the signal to descend but stay at a particular altitude. However, due to the wrong information provided by the operator, the plane kept descending. At the same time, a Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 747 was leaving from Delhi carrying 312 passengers. It was too late before the two planes saw each other and they collided with each other. All passengers of both aircrafts were killed.
