Maurice is an American athlete who won a gold medal in 100m sprint at 2000 Olympics in Sydney. His best time was 9.79 s, which was achieved in 1999 at Athens, until it was surpassed later by Tim Montgomery in 2002. Fortunately, for Maurice Green, the record was overturned in 1999 due to allegation of doping. Maurice Green also broke the world record for 60m indoor in Madrid at 6.39 s.
