7. Bruny Surin (9.84 seconds)


Bruny Surin is a Canadian athlete, who won gold medals in various athletics field. Surin was originally from Haiti and he moved with his family to Canada in 1975. His first debut was at the 1987 Pan American Games, where he only reached 15th position in the Long Jump. In the 1988 Olympic Games, he also reached 15th position also in Long Jump. Finally in 1999 World Championship in Seville he won 2nd place in the 100m sprint at 9.84 s, which was equal to that of Donovan Bailey.
