9. Walter Hyatt
Walter Hyatt was an American songwriter and singer. His band, the Uncle Walt’s Band is credited by fans and experts as the Original Americana Artists. His plane was a Delta Airlines’ DC-9 and it disappeared from radar somewhere over the everglades of Florida in May 11, 1996. All 105 passengers and 5 crews were killed instantly in the crash. The DC-9 is totally shattered by the impact, leaving countless small parts all over the swamp. The recovery effort was plagued by alligators, sawgrass and the lack of infrastructure, as the nearest road was 400m away.
