1. Blood Travels a Long Distance
Each day the blood in the human body travels a long distance. If the blood vessels of the body were laid from one end to the other, they would cover a distance of 60,000 miles. It is known that the blood keeps moving in the body, so it has to travel quite a distance each day. The heart that pumps the blood works very hard to do so and pumps nearly 2,000 gallons of blood each day.
