2. Lake Turkana National Parks – Kenya
The Lake Turkana is the most saline lakes of Africa and is the ideal place to study the various communities of animals and plant species. The Park has been declared a World Heritage Site as the place is the stopover point for several migrating birds and breeding ground for different creatures like the snakes, hippopotamuses and crocodiles. The place also provides the largest fossil remains contributing to the study of paleoenvironments.
