5. The Amazon Rainforest – South America
The Amazon Rainforest in South America is a natural wonder for the sheer area that it covers. Spread over seven million square kilometers, the Amazon Rainforest covers nine nations with more than 60 percent being in Brazil. The rainforest is known for the flora and fauna. Some of the parts of the forest are so dense that sun rays are unable to reach the floor of the forest leaving the place moist throughout.
