5. Kurt Russel (Snake Plissken in Escape from New York)
Snake is a former Special Forces operator in a post-WWIII world, who is decorated for bravery during combat by the US President. He turns to criminal life due to his dissatisfaction with the government during an operation in Leningrad.
Snake is portrayed as a very cynical individual with stern speech. He holds nothing sacred and is willing to do just about anything to survive. As an anti-hero, Snake still holds a (loose) code of honor.
