9. Hugo Weaving (V in V for Vendetta)
A fascist party called Norsefire rules UK after a nuclear war and exterminates its political opponents in various concentration camps. V is a memorable masked anarchist who systematically kills high-ranking members of Norsefire. He is skilled in computer hacking, subterfuge and explosive handling and well versed in various philosophical and cultural topics. Throughout the film, V wears the distinctive Guy Fawkes mask, which is eventually used by a large part of London residents during the final uprising.
