Connected with all major cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, Pondicherry, Munnar, Trichy, and Madurai via excellent network of roads and railway tracks, accessing the island is easy. The nearest airport is situated about 174 k.m. away in Madurai. It has regular flights from Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, etc.
