Josh Jambon:Creating A Business That Can Succeed

3 Mins read

Josh Jambon has created a company that rents and sells vessels that are used for commercial purposes. Many of these vessels are used in the gas and oil industry, but they can be used to ship numerous products around the country. If you want to make your business successful, there are several things you need to do. The following tips can help.

Business That Can Succeed

Make A Written Plan

It is always a good idea to have a plan and you shouldn’t just keep it in your mind, you need to write it down on paper. A written plan will come in handy when you are pitching ideas, trying to explain your company’s mission or need to have a business plan to present to the bank. You can draw up a rough draft of your plan and rewrite it as many times as necessary until it sounds the way you want it.

Be Flexible

You may be happy with your plan and have every intention of following it, but you also have to be flexible. There will be obstacles along the way and times when things do not go as planned. You will need to know how to solve problems and make changes to your plan to help make your company succeed. Being flexible is an important part of being a business owner and is necessary for the success of a company. Being flexible doesn’t mean you are willing to give up on your original goals or plan, it just means you are willing to do whatever is necessary to make sure the company grows and prospers.

Take Advice

Don’t get overly excited or egotistical about your company and be willing to accept help from others. If someone who had or does own a similar company is willing to give you some tips and advice, pay close attention, appreciate and use it. You may even want to talk to mentors or ask other company owners to help you start your company or give you advice when you run into problems.

Stay Organized

You should always be organized. Keep your desk, workplace and all aspects of your company neat and tidy. Staying organized will help you work better and find the things you need. You will need to refer to records and find contact information on a regular basis and if you don’t know where these things are, it can put stress on your company. Some business owners hire office managers and even professional organizers to help them keep their records organized.

Focus On Marketing

You will need to market your business at all times. No matter how successful or busy you are there will never be a time when you do not need to advertise or continue to appeal to customers. Many people make the mistake of reducing their focus on marketing as their company grows and becomes more successful. Find a marketing plan that works and stick with it. You may need to change how you market your company from time to keep up with the current demands of clients. If you are not comfortable handling the marketing aspects of the company yourself, hire someone to do it for you.

If you want to make your company as successful as Josh Jambon’s the above tips can help. Owning and operating a successful company isn’t easy but the right business practices can make a big difference.  If you are thinking about opening your own business or operating your own company and want to make sure it grows and is successful, make sure you consider the above points.
