Impetigo is a skin infection caused by bacteria. The microbes responsible are Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus. The patient of this skin infection usually sees a growth of blisters or clusters of pimples in the initial stages. Their presence can be seen on different parts of the body including neck, face and hands. The blisters rupture, leaving behind a crusty red rash. Though the rash doesn’t pain, but it can cause itchiness which can be quite annoying.
