Immediately buying me a drink shows me that I don’t have to work for it, which means you’re either desperate for attention, a massive pushover or want to brag about your money. These aren’t things most people are into. Talk to me, charm me and then if we hit it off, offer to buy me a drink. Otherwise, you’re going to be one broke, bitter man by the end of the night.
