9. Douglas Adam


Douglas Noel Adams was an English dramatis, humorist and writer, who is known for a series of works related to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. He eventually wrote novels with the same theme and during his entire career, he sold more than 15 million copies.
Adams revealed that the idea for the novel came when he was staring at the star, while he lying drunk somewhere on the plain of Austria. During the time, he traveled through the Europe carrying a guide book called the Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to Europe. Adams was a huge fan of technology; he purchased PC and other devices soon after they were released in 1970’s and 1980’s.
