9. Vladimir Mayakovsky
Representing the future of Russia, Vladimir was known for his plays and poetry. He also wrote political slogans inciting the communist revolution. His later works are depictive of the cynicism and disillusionment that he had for the corruption prevailing in the Soviet Union bureaucracy. Unable to express his true feelings, he committed suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot.
