9. The Odyssey
The Odyssey is an American oil-tanker and in November 1988, the ship split into two and sank. The ship caught fire and much of the oil was burned. Because of the unpleasant weather, the coast guard of Nova Scotia could not reach the area, thus more damage occurred.
