9. Aden-Abyan Islamic Army
Based in southern Yemen, Aden-Abyan Islamic Army is one of the most feared organizations in the country. The Islamic Army was responsible for kidnapping 16 foreign tourists in Abyan and was linked in the 2000 USS Cole Bombing. The group is associated with Islamic Jihad Movement that wants to counteract secularism in Arab nations.
