Perhaps one of the most recognizable foods world-wide, the rich aroma of a juicy burger wafting off the grill is all but assured on a summer Sunday. While the exact date of creation is hotly contested, the American-style hamburger on a bun began garnering international attention after it was served at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair. Today, burgers can be found just about anywhere and topped with just about anything.
