This book follows the journey of a young half-Faerie named Tristran Thorn from the village of Wall. He promises to bring a fallen star to his love Victoria. He finds a fallen star named Yvaine, a living creature. She may be immortal but she’s not invulnerable and she is pursued by a number of different people who want her for their own reasons.
The book was made into a film of the same name in 2007.
