5. Chihuahua
These little dogs are one of the smallest dog breeds. They love a cuddle and will happily curl up on the sofa with their owner. They are yappy, feisty and good with children who treat them gently. They make great apartment dogs because they will get most of their exercise from running around indoors. A bit of patience is needed when training a Chihuahua.
