6. Dachshund
These stubborn little dogs can be difficult to train because they were bred to hunt alone. They like to get on with their own thing but they’re playful, friendly and love a good cuddle. They shouldn’t be trusted off a lead because once they pick up an interesting scent they’ll be off to investigate. They’re good dogs to have with children but won’t tolerate being teased.
