This place is haunted by a ghost called Chloe. It is said that the owner had an affair with his serving girl, Chloe. She became jealous of her lover’s family and on one of the children’s birthdays made a cake laced with poison. The entire family died and the other slaves were furious. They hung Chloe from a tree before tossing her body in the Mississippi.
