3. Franklin Castle in Cleveland, Ohio
This is the stereotypical example if a haunted house. It has turrets, gargoyles and a tower. The castle was owned by Hannes Tiedemann, a man no one understood. He was a grocer who became a banker and was rumoured to have been responsible for the deaths of three babies in the house. A number of mysterious deaths happened there between 1865 and 1895.
