2. The Dome House
The Dome House was constructed in the suburb of Adelaide, Australia and designed by McBride Charles Ryan to support various conditions of human life; a single person, a single person with visiting family and a family. The original design was to take a copper sphere and bury it. By selectively removing excess parts, the Dome House offers an intimate and unique relationship with its garden. Although the design is conceptually simple, it feels limitless. As a modern house with its innovative design, the Dome House resonates with picturesque characteristics of the suburb.
