8. Melbourne, Australia
This circuit uses everyday roads that surround Albert Park Lake. The course is fast and the consistent corners means it’s very easy to learn and drive. It’s usually the first race on the Formula One calendar and has therefore seen the many famous drivers make their debut.
During the first race at the track in 1996 Martin Brundle was launched in the air in his Jordan in a huge accident on the third corner of the first lap. He then rushed back to the pits to get his spare car. This excitement meant that Melbourne would never be a track that was forgotten.
But hopefully, The Circuit of the Americas will get on this list.
