5. Caviar
This is one of those foods that everyone had heard of but very few people have actually tried. Real caviar is the eggs of the wild sturgeon found in the Caspian and Black seas. However, in some countries caviar may be used to describe the roe of fish such as salmon, lumpfish, steelhead, trout and whitefish.
It’s usually used as a spread or eaten on its own. There’s a lot that can taint the taste of caviar so the higher the price, the better the flavour is going to be.
