Samson released two more devices in Jello series, which quite good in terms of the features and price. By introducing these mid range phones into the market Samsung planning to target mid ranged market, which lost to recent manufacturers’ entry into in this category. Samsung had the upper hand in the flagship region, but in recent months it has lost its shares on the midranged consumers because the vacuum occupied by the other companies such as XIomi, Lenovo, Micromax, Huawei and etc. Now, Samsung has thought get its hands on the market even in the midrange, in terms of sales count mid ranged regions has more sailing opportunities than the flagship ones. So new mobile arrived in this category from Samsung is Galaxy J7. Now let’s see the details of the devices.
Design
This device has no metallic uni-modelling, design but it follows the same previous design properties just like the Galaxy S3, Grand and Grand Prime. The look and feel gives you same the older mobiles of Samsung. It has the plastic body, a metallic frame from protecting the device and a removable back –panel. It can simply fit into your hands without any problems. The grip on the device is pretty good, its not that slippery though.
Screen/Display
It’s equipped with a 5.5 inch 720p Super AMOLED display, but it fits well in your hands. It supports 16M colors with 720×1280 pixels resolution at 267ppi depth. It supports multi-touch functionality, the screen occupies 69.6% screen-to-body bezels. The device has a great viewing angles and touch response is excellent, but it doesn’t have a gorilla glass protection.
Hardware
It comes with Qualcomm MSM8939 snapdragon 615 Exynos 7580 chipset along with Octacore 1.5GHz processor with Aadreno 405 and Mali-T720MP2 GPU processors. It has equipped with 1.5GHz, RAM with 16GB internal memory. Extension of memory possible via MicroSD supports up to 128GB.
It has the dual SIM slot to support GSM+LTE networks, the network technology implemented in the device has GSM/HSPA/LTE supports. The device also equipped with the Noise cancellation, accelerometer, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC support and proximity sensors.
Camera
The device comes with pretty good cam specifications, it has a 13MP rear camera with 4128×3096 pixels m autofocus, LED flash. The camera app comes with Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama etc features. We can record HD video with has given 13mp rear camera at 1080p @30fps. It has a good front camera for the video calls and selfies with LED flash which is bit advantage for the video calls.
Other Features
It comes with the a best 3000mAh battery, Samsung boasts that it can give up to 18hrs talktime and 6hrs regular usage time. It is good to know the device equipped with a decent amount of battery.
