Arthur Kennedy was an American stage and film actor; known for his ability to create naturalness both on stage and film. Kennedy is a versatile supporting actor, with four Academy Award nominations in Champion, Trial, Peyton Place and Some Came Running. Kennedy is perhaps most remembered for his role in Bend of the River and The Man from Laramie as a sympathetic villain.
