3. San Zhi, Taiwan
This futuristic pod-village was built as a luxury tourist resort. However, a number of deaths occurred during construction and the project was halted. A lack of money and an unwillingness to continue meant the resort was never finished. There are many stories that those who died there now haunt the place.
