So named after Italian film director Antonioni’s classic movie, Blow Up, this Nowy Swiat club sits upon one of Warsaw’s most popular (not to mention posh) streets. While its entry isn’t designated by a sign, nor its front door accessible from the hubbub of the road, take a gander into the address’ backyard. There, you will be pleasantly greeted by a homey, albeit industrial-style club, abuzz with a pleasant crowd that’s comprised of locals and internationals of a distinctively alternative, creative ilk. Music varies from indie-rock acts and foot-tapping jazz, along with a lively, various line-up of electronic sounds. A Warsaw must, come the weekends.
