Klub 55
The gift that Stalin gave

Klub 55 used to be housed in the city’s most distinctive landmark, the Palace of Culture. The building was a gift from Stalin to “the Polish people” and was finished in 1955, hence the name of the club. They’ve since upped sticks but haven’t moved very far and are still located smack bang in the middle of town where they continue to host some of the best blowouts in Warsaw, such as the The Crazy London Style, Sorry Ghettoblaster, the tech/minimal/anything goes Detroit Zdrój nights or special DJ events where top names like Patrick Pulsinger run the “55” show.
