W Oparach Absurdu draws its name from the cult Polish novel and pays it appropriate tribute. Absurdu’s proprietor scoured junk shops and market stalls wide and far for the assortment of little trinkets that characterize this surrealist shack. You’ll get a hint of what you’re in for with a huge plastic tarantula hovering above the entrance, followed by the interior’s oddball décor, Persian rugs and broken bric-à-brac. The bar serves some of the toughest shots in town, so take note if you’re intending to leave the place on your feet.
