MotMot is a small screen-printing and graphic design shop on Kirchengasse that designs and manufactures their own line of t-shirts, posters, and accessories on site. If you stop by their shop you can watch them in action.
Their hand-printed quality designs are characterized by bright colors and fun graphics, which they have described as "fusing a love for exotic animals, Lucha Libre and Irish modernist writers into a classic media machine.”
Run by Anna Breitenberger and Stephen Kwon Reeder (a Los Angeles ex-pat who comes from a zine and screen printing background), MotMot has also done jobs for Flex nightclub—commissioned posters include: Vic Chesnut, The Kills, Black Eyes, and Sea and Cake—a websites for the Gaffa Film Festival and Shu!, and much more.
In addition to t-shirts (all printed on American Apparel tees) and wearables, they have a nice selection of arts publications such as Cabinet, Ad Busters and limited edition artist zines.
